Why choose a CAPBT Puppy Trainer?
Membership into CAPBT is solely by qualification, therefore all our Pet Behaviourists and Trainers are qualified to some of the highest standards that are available in the UK.
Whilst many puppy classes are run by trainees or voluntary assistants who are still learning, we at CAPBT believe all puppies should have the best possible start they can in training and socialisation and that’s why our classes are run by fully qualified and experienced behaviourists.
All our CAPBT members must have passed the COAPE (Centre Of Applied Pet Ethology) Higher Diploma in Practical Companion Animal Behaviour and Training, and this Diploma is the only one in the UK that is independently accredited (by Certa), and regulated by OFQUAL. This course is an equal mix of theory and practical education, giving you a trainer that has the best of both worlds, knowledge and practical experience.
All our CAPBT Behaviourists use our unique EMRA™ (Emotion, Mood and Reinforcement) approach which is a holistic approach focusing on your pet’s emotions, this is effective in preventing problem behaviours whilst improving your puppy’s general feelings of wellbeing.
We will help you build a strong bond of trust and respect for each other and a well-balanced, obedient and well-behaved puppy.
