QUALIFICATION LEVELS EXPLAINED

CAPBT Dip CAPBT

Members who have successfully completed the COAPE Diploma in Practical Animal Behaviour and Training DipCABT (Level 3) accredited by the National Open College Network, can be identified by the green quality mark. 

CAPBT behaviour advisor

Members who have achieved the COAPE Higher Diploma Year 1, The Principles in Companion Animal Behaviour and Training DipCABT (RQF Level 4), approved by CERTA and regulated by OfQual on the National Curriculum, can be identified by the blue quality mark.

CAPBT behaviourist and trainer

Members who have achieved the COAPE Higher Diploma Year 2, The Practical Application of Companion Animal Behaviour and Training DipCABT (RQF Level 5), approved by CERTA and regulated by OfQual on the National Curriculum, can be identified by the pink quality mark.

         Members who have achieved the COAPE Higher Diploma Year 3, Applied Clinical Pharmacology, Neurophysiology and Therapeutics in Companion Animal Behaviour Therapy DipCABT (RQF Level 6), approved by CERTA and regulated by OfQual on the National Curriculum, can be identified by the platinum quality mark.

 

All members work under a strict Code of Practice which includes the assurance that coercive or punitive techniques and equipment are never used in treatment. CAPBT members maintain their state-of-the-art competence and knowledge through attending various Continuing Professional Development courses offered by COAPE and others, and have ongoing access to a wealth of expertise and support via a lively Members Association of over 200 qualified members. You can be assured of the very best of qualified and up to date help with a CAPBT member.

 

If a client is unsatisfied with the services they have received, they should in the first instance refer their concerns back to the CAPBT member. If still unsatisfied they should then email here with details of their concerns and name of the CAPBT member.
